Modern business management



Modern Business Management to nowy (od roku akademickiego 2017/2018) kierunek studiów licencjackich (I stopnia) z zakresu zarządzania, prowadzony w języku angielskim. Pozwala on na zdobycie praktycznej wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji społecznych, stanowiących klucz do sukcesu w nowej gospodarce. Jest to możliwe dzięki stosowaniu nowoczesnych metod nauczania, takich jak studia przypadków czy gry strategiczne. W trakcie studiów absolwent nabywa kwalifikacje m.in. z zakresu wykorzystywania w praktyce nowoczesnych technologii, negocjowania i zarządzania małymi zespołami ludzkimi, jak też biegłość w posługiwaniu się dwoma językami. Mało liczne grupy studenckie, składające się z osób reprezentujących różne narodowości i kultury, rozwijają umiejętności komunikacyjne w środowisku wielonarodowym, jak i pozwalają na zdobycie wiedzy na temat kulturowych uwarunkowań prowadzenia biznesu za granicą. Kierunek przygotowuje przedsiębiorców do prowadzenia własnej firmy oraz kształci menedżerów średniego szczebla zarządzania we wszystkich typach przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych i usługowych.

 

 

Modern Business Management – bachelor’s studies in English – is targeted on young  people who have  a solid foundation in the use of English and wish to expand their linguistic skills to the meanders of the language of business. Their objective is to become proficient in the use of Business English and to pursue education in this language, upholding the standards of the world best business schools. The curriculum is structured in such a way that the students become familiar with the key areas of corporate management, among others Logistics, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Sales, E-commerce. Special attention will be given to the application of advanced Information and Communication technologies. The value of the studies lies in the fact that students work in small groups, thus gaining practical skills which are indispensable to the contemporary world of business. After graduation, the students will be able to manage small and medium enterprises or work as middle managers in large corporations in various lines of business, including the state and territorial administration. Language skills and the curriculum enable the students to use the extensive package of study trips to foreign universities which are available to the students of CUE.
